Tech graduate from NIT Surathkal established Zyoin.com in 2008 as a recruitment marketplace to help connect employers and potential employees through a network of referrers.
Before you think its just another addition to the naukri’s and the monsters, Anuj goes on to elaborate that they don’t just list jobs and leave it at that. “I wanted to create a system that everyone benefits from and hence was born the concept of ‘home based recruiting’.” On Zyoin, once an employer posts his opening, recruiters, i.e. referrers can send resumes of people they know who might fit the requirement. Which means anyone with a little time and an internet connection can associate themselves with Zyoin as a recruiter and earn cash rewards out of helping others find the right job.
An employer’s concerns over spammers and irrelevant interests are put to rest by the knowledge that every single resume sent by a referrer is rated and qualified before it is passed on. “Once the actual hiring happens, we pay a share of our earning from the employer to the referrer”.
An innovative concept if there ever was one, the proof of its functionality is the fact that in just a few months since inception, 3000 people are already associated with the portal of which 500 work actively with them; “It’s like monetizing your network; in a way we have generated employment for these 500 people and see this number only growing” adds Anuj.
