Archana said, “Technology is one space where women can break many barriers and flourish as entrepreneurs successfully. Having said this, there are a few social, cultural and biological obstacles that could prevent women from becoming entrepreneurs. Among the many, one of the main obstacles is her children and family. When a woman has to work full time as a technologist or an entrepreneur she at the same time she has to craft a solution to take care of her family at home.”
At the event, Archana hopes to see and hear inspiring stories of women making successful careers despite these obstacles.
The latter part of the event will also include Googlers speaking about various Google APIs available for use and will be followed by a Jam session where women technologists and entrepreneurs can come up with new ideas.
