We walk through this life but once. We all have a hidden desire to leave an impact at some level or the other and surely with some people or more. It is a baggage we all carry.
Many would believe that this is an empty desire and we are not naturally gifted, we believe in wrongly that impact making people are those who make headlines. Our examples are typically politicians, film stars and cricketers. The truth is they do not make the World. Even more interestingly they do not constitute the core that makes a good society or a system that guarantees better living.
We can all in our way, in our own sphere of activity be impact making people. We only need to be courageous and willing to take routes unexplored. Travel on a highway and you enjoy the comfort of a good road and established facilities. However if you are looking for adventure, if you are looking for experience – in short if you want to be an impact making person – go trekking.
Be your own navigator. Let ambition be your mariners compass. It will draw you with its magnetic effect. The initial impetus, the willingness not to follow a pattern but design one, calls for courage. Courage is often not the insurance for success, it is certainly the mantra for living life king size.
It is more than a cliché to believe that fortune favors the brave. If you want to reach out to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, jump, do not go for the ladder. The willingness to move outside the defined formula is the language of courageous people; it is the road of entrepreneurs who cycle with a few yarns of cloth on a bicycle but dare to build a reliant empire.
Every one dreams. The courageous have a flattering rate where they convert their dreams into visions and reality. The execution of your dreams is the space of the brave. They dare to wake up and work, they brave their ideas into action and reach out to the fortunes. The fortunate are not often brave. The brave are always near fortunate.
